SEL Staff Complete Melbourne Teams Corporate Triathlon

South East Leisure (SEL) proudly flew the flag for the Leisure industry at the recent Melbourne Teams Corporate Triathlon, in Elwood. With SEL only commencing operations from 1 July 2021, this was the company’s inaugural appearance at the event.

Eight employees, and one Director represented SEL across three teams, in what was a fun day that brought a variety of roles together for some team building and physical activity.

SEL CEO, John Clark participated and thoroughly enjoyed the experience “it was great to see SEL staff give it their best effort, it was a first taste of triathlon for a many of our participants and they all really enjoyed the experience” John said.

“We aim to improve community health and wellbeing outcomes through leisure experiences so it’s important we lead by example by being involved in such events” he added.

Impressively, one of the SEL teams placed 6^th overall out of 388 teams, and also managed to rank 2^nd from companies competing within the Sport and Leisure Industry.

The Melbourne Teams Corporate Triathlon is an annual event organised by O2 Events.
