South East Leisure (SEL) and Reclink Australia (RA) have announced an exciting new partnership that aims to provide much-needed services to disadvantaged youth in the City of Greater Dandenong (CoGD) and surrounding suburbs. The partnership will enable RA participants to access gym and aquatic facilities at Noble Park Aquatic Centre, which features a brand-new state-of-the-art gym, and Dandenong Oasis.
Jake Da Silva, SEL’s General Manager Commercial and Community Partnerships, said the partnership is a great step towards increasing physical activity levels in the CoGD. “This partnership is at the core of SEL’s purpose to improve community health and wellbeing outcomes through accessible, high quality, leisure experiences. We look forward to working closely with RA to achieve a positive impact in our local community.”
RA is equally excited about the partnership. “We are delighted to be partnering with SEL and offering our participants access to these amazing facilities. We know that exercise and recreation are essential for mental and physical wellbeing, and this partnership will help us provide a vital service to our local community,” said a spokesperson for RA.
In April 2023, Reclink’s South East Melbourne Metro team moved into the newly developed Ross Reserve pavilion, which is conveniently located next to Noble Park Aquatic Centre. This move will enable RA participants to access the facilities easily and participate in a wide range of programs and activities.
The partnership between SEL and RA is a fantastic initiative that will help improve the lives of disadvantaged youth in CoGD. It is a great example of how collaboration between organisations can make a positive impact on local communities.
